Kay Morris

Kay started attending summer camp in North Carolina when she was a little girl. From there, her camping experience has expanded substantially. She has managed church and YMCA camps, youth retreats, day care operations, and equestrian programs. Graduating from Sullins College in Virginia, she has maintained her Certificate of Equitation and oversees the safety and training for all new Camp GROW horseback riders.

Kay serves as Secretary / Treasurer for the GROW Board and has performed the role of “Camp Mom” since program inception. She loves taking new camper parents on a UTV tour of camp as well as helping guide any homesick campers back into the mainstream of camp life. Kay says, “I looked forward to camp every summer, as I was growing up. To see that these kids get those same opportunities for discovery is very special to me.”
